Alongside our changing exhibitions, we also offer a curation service, something we’ve been slowly developing in the gallery as our collection of artists and makers have grown. Whether working alongside an interior designer or directly with a client, our team at Morgans can put together a tailored suggestion of artwork for your space. With experience in both the design and architectural industries, our curation service offers a holistic approach to both understanding the importance of the art and the building it is housed in.

We work across a range of disciplines in the gallery so our curation service can vary from paintings and 2D works, to sculptural collections and bespoke furniture. Our suggested curations will offer work from both our current exhibition as well as our achieve at Morgans. In some cases, if we think upcoming exhibitions would suit a particular curation, we will discuss with artists to potentially release work early. A bespoke commission for a particular artist can also be suggested, particularly if artworks require exact dimensions.

The photography in our catalogue below offers examples of our curation of the gallery at Morgans - although an exhibition space, the nature of the building with a series of rooms centring around a glazed courtyard, offers more of a domestic environment to envisage the artwork within. The presence of the olives trees, internal windows, rustic lighting, bespoke furniture, a place to sit and enjoy the art and jugs of seasonal foliage all add to this sense of ‘home’ within the space.
