We are thrilled to be introducing our opening show for 2025 at Morgans! Show No.1 shares new collections of paintings by 6 artists - impressive sea and sky scapes by Jack Davis hang in the courtyard, alongside soft depictions of the landscape by Justine Eavis. A series of kitchen paintings by Martha Holmes with palettes full of pinks and reds sit in the front gallery alongside new artist to Morgans, Eska Marsh, whose drypoint and carborundum prints depict everyday objects and moments in the home. Studies of the figure, rich in colour by Ella Squirrell are paired with works by Ali Bassett with nods to folktales and overheard stories. Alongside the paintings, we are excited to exhibit a collection by stone carver Ellie Brown, whose work explores the human form, with each sculpture a discreet abstract of the body. Katie Moore shares four new wobble pots alongside a little series of paintings. Will Nock has delivered new furniture from his riverside workshop, including a new design - ‘The Mawnan Ladder’.
