I create tapestries using a traditional punch needle technique alongside making ceramics and short films
as a part of my current practice. My work explores the comfort of the indoors as well as the outdoor spaces we curate and live within. The work comes from my intrigue with every day, experiences, mundanity and how the sublime can be applied to day to day living. How is it, things we are most familiar with can be nostalgic, and present the ‘unpresentable’ in the form of memories, thoughts and feelings?
